I know that this post is late, but better late than never!!
Abby got to stay the night with my mom, by herself without Jacob. My mom took her to school for a grandparent picnic. She had a great time as did granny grunt as Jacob and Abby call her(my mom), and Oma(Mike's mom). They had ham sandwiches, chips, water, and teddy grahams. They had a great time. What memories they will have. The class made a quilt to go to the highest bidder it was a silent auction. We did not win, but it was very cute it was the class hand prints. The money goes to the teacher not the school which I am glad she can buy things she needs for her class books, or art that they do during the year.

Jacob got to have donuts with grandparents. He was so happy since Abby goes to the church in the morning before school she got to do this also. They had a great time and we had a great turn out.

I am so happy that they got to have this day together. This means so much to the kids and what memories they will have. I am so happy that we live by family. God has blessed with so much.
