A great day

Jacob is now trying to use the bathroom in the potty. We are sooo proud of him. Bribery really does work. We told him if he gets his page of stickers then he can go to Chuck e Cheese. He is trying so hard. He is also getting out of his bed every five minutes saying that he needs to go potty. I let him get up to use the bathroom, but some how he never does, so he goes back to bed and then not five minutes later he has to get back up again. The bad thing is when he does get potty trained then he really won't need mommy any more, and how sad this will be for me.

Abby is doing great. She is wanting school to start, so she can start her new one. She will be going to a school in Harrah, since we moved. I go and enroll her next monday, and I am going to take her with me so she can see her new school. The people that I work with want me to transfer her to a school in Choctaw, since I work down the street, but in a way I do and I don't. When Jacob gets in school which will be next year I do not know if I will be able to transfer him for Pre-K, and I do not want to take them to two different schools. We will see what happens on monday to see which school she will be going to.

Playing in the water

This past Sunday the kids wanted to go outside and play. Jacob got a cars water sprinkler for his birthday so we let them run around the yard and play. They had a great time running and playing. While they were playing Jacob went around to the back yard and got his wagon. Mike put some water in it. Abby would sit in the wagon and Jacob would pull her around the yard it was so funny, because Mike would spray them with the other hose. Jacob does not like water in his face at all. He would scream every time and run away.

VBS Week

We have been very busy this past two weeks. We had vacation bible school at church, and I also helped with the preschool snacks. Our schedule got really messed up with me having to be at the church for work at 9:00 and then have vbs until 9:00 at night the kids and I were very tired. We had a great turn out in vbs.

I was trying to get a picture of Abby but she kept moving so I have no good pictures of her.

Jacob's Birthday Party

Jacob had a great birthday day and birthday party. His birthday he got to sleep in and Abby made him some blueberry muffins which are his favorite for breakfast. Abby went and woke him up with a muffin and sang happy birthday. He was so excited. His birthday party was saturday and we had a great time with family and friends. I think he got all the cars things that you can get. That is his favorite toy and all he plays with.

Happy 4th of July

Today was a very good day. I got up this morning and went to work at a fireworks stand, that some people from church own. We all had a good time there. Then we went over to some friends house to shot fire works and go swimming. The kids had a great time. The food was good too. The fire works were great since I did not have to pay very much for them since I worked at the stand.

Our New House

I finally took some time to take some pictures of our new house. We are still trying to unpack everything, with both of us working we do not have a lot of time to try and do things. I did not know we had so much stuff. As you can see we lack furniture. We did not bring very much back since we were living with my mom and dad for two years and we did not want to put it in storage. There is a lot of things on the floor since we lack furniture as soon as we buy new I will post. We are going to paint Abby's room pink, because she wants a pink princess room. Jacob's room is going to be red or blue for cars.

The front of the house. This house is a three bedroom, two bath, study, three car garage on an acre of land.
Living room as you see we are using a futon right now until we can buy us a new couch.
Mike's study. We are going to buy a new desk and book shelves for all of his books.
Kitchen. Hall way to the kids room and bathroom.

As you can see the kid's rooms are put together. When we moved in Neva took the kids for us so we could unpack and get there rooms put together. My mom came over to help us unpack and try to put things up. (Thanks Neva and mom for all the help) The kids were so excited when they came home to see there rooms for the first time. Jacob just stood there in amazement, and Abby was jumping up and down screaming. She keeps asking for the pink paint, but I keep telling her it will come in time. Jacob keeps asking for his cars bed, and I keep telling him he has to use the potty to get one. We are still trying to potty train him and he just does not want to do it.
