We went and saw Santa. Jacob asked for Buzz lightyear toy, and Abby asked for a horse and doll that you can put make up on. I am glad that they did not go over the top. They just asked for simple things, which I am glad.

Thanksgiving
We had a great Thanksgiving. We had it at our new house this year. We did not have a very big crowd. I made some home made yeast rolls this year. Thanks to my grandmother's recipe. They were very good. I did not get to take any pictures, because as soon as I took them out of the oven they were gone. I was very surprised by how good they tasted. Mike said that we will not be buying rolls anymore.

Abby's Birthday Party
Abby had a great birthday party. We went to see Madagascar 2 and went to Chelino's restaurant to eat. Mike was off work so he got to go. We had a great time.
Abby outside the movie theater. Abby's daddy brought her roses.
Abby had a swim party the next day. My aunt Cherrie made her a castle cake, she loved it. We all had a great time swimming. Mike did not get to go to the swim party because he had to work.

Abby's 6th Birthday
I can not believe that it has been six years since I had Abby. I went in about 10:00 pm to be induced, because the doctor that I was working for wanted me to deliver early in the morning so he could have clinic in the afternoon. Well Abby decided that would be a good idea, because I had her at 7:30 am on November 7th, 2002. My has she grown and what a little person she has become. She has lost 5 teeth and is now in kindergarten. She tells us what she likes and does not like and she also dresses herself. I try to help her in the morning, but we always get into a fight over what she wears. She always wants to wear dresses. I still do not get that. The only time I wear a dress is to Church, wedding, or a funeral. She is just a grily girl. Abby mommy and daddy are so proud of you!!! Happy 6th Birthday.
This is pictures of her second birthday. We were living in Virginia at the time. Jason Reese, Chris and Sara came to the party. Jason did balloon animals for her. We all had a great time. This is Abby dressing herself.

Carving the Pumpkins
This is a yearly tradition for the kids and Mike. He always enjoys carving the pumpkins and roasting the seeds. The kids love this. I think he likes it more though. As you can see I do not help I am the picture taker. We normally do this earlier, but due to Mike having to work late and not having any time we waited until the day before. Jacob did not care for cleaning out the pumpkin though. Mike did most of his work.

Our New Family Member
For those that know me. You know that I am not an animal lover, but today something happened. Our neighbor came by to ask some questions about some trees we have in our yard and we were talking about dogs. I told her that Mike was wanting to get a lab one day, when we got our yard ready. Well today as we were talking a lady drove by and was asking if she knew of any one that has lost a dog. We said no, but that I would go ask my husband who was mowing at the time if he wanted the dog. I do not think he was very happy with me, but he come over anyway and he said yes so we took him. We named him Samuel, and call him Sammy for short. He seems like a good dog right now. He is very skinny you can see his ribs. He looks like he is an English setter. Oh and by the way Abby wanted a dog for her birthday and guess what she got one.

War Eagle
NO it is not the football saying, it is a craft place in Arkansas. They have this twice a year and crafters and people come from all over to look around. We had a great time. Carole, mom, dad, Janet, Loyd, KaCee, Candace, and I all went. We stayed in the Cook's cabin. They go to my mom's church. My grandparents always stayed there when they went. We were gone for 4 great days, and yes I did not take my kids. I bought a lot this time also.

Pumpkin Patch
We went to the pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago. I now have the chance to sit down and post. The pumpkin patch was good, but not like the ones in Virginia. That is what I miss the most is the fall and the pumpkin patch with the kids. I do not think the kids know any different. We went and rode the carousel, and then they rode the ponies. Abby liked the ponies best of all. When we went on the hay ride, they gave you this long lecture about staying on the other side of the yellow tape and you could only get the little pumpkins sitting out. Jacob of course picked up every pumpkin he could to look at the bottom and make sure it was a good one. He finally settled on one.
Jacob with his little pumpkin. Abby and Jacob as you come in to the farm. As you can see Abby is not smiling, because she wanted to go and ride the ponies and not have her picture taken.

All I want for Christmas is my TWO FRONT TEETH
Well Abby lost her two front teeth. She is soooo excited. Every time I look at her I just smile. She looks so cute. She lost the first top tooth some time last week, and then lost her other one today on her way home from school. She can't wait to see what the tooth fairy is going to bring her. Last time she got two real dollars. That is what she calls money real. When she lost her bottom teeth she got Disney dollars since we were getting ready to go to Walt Disney World. My little girl is growing up so fast.

Veggie Tales
Monday night we went and saw Veggie Tales. The kids had a great time it was the one that God Made you Special. Bob was missing and we had to try and find him. The kids danced and played the whole time. They really did a great job with this I would go see it again, even if the kids do not want to go.
If you have kids that love veggie tales you have to try and take them, it was great.
Jacob before the show started. Abby before the show started.
The veggies on stage.
You see a guy setting on the steps that is so no kids can get on stage. I thought that was kind of funny until they ask the kids to come near the stage to dance and they blew bubbles also. The kids went crazy. Bob and Larry.

Super Incredible weekend
We had a great weekend. Our church had there annual super incredible weekend. You bring your family and have speakers and worship time. This year was the amazing race, we got to race around Choctaw and try to find clues, at every clue there was a mission that you prayed for. You would not believe all the different missions that are going on around the country. One of the stops was for the Appalachian people. We knew about this one when we lived in Virginia. The stops had something to do with every mission it was great the kids loved it. When we got there we had our pictures taken for our passports. Then off to breakfast and games. We also made our family flag which was fun. Mike got to do some of this with us before he had to go to work. Then we had a guest speaker Mark Jones he was very good, the music was also good. We had lunch then off to the race. What a great time we had. We also watched a movie outside Flywheel which was very good also. The kids loved laying under the stars to watch the movie.
I am so glad that God has blessed us with a good church, and church family.
Abby decorating the flag. Jacob took Mikes picture. They gave us disposable cameras and Jacob was taking pictures of everything so I gave him mine and this is one that he took.
Jacob wanting the camera.

Grandparent Day
I know that this post is late, but better late than never!!
Abby got to stay the night with my mom, by herself without Jacob. My mom took her to school for a grandparent picnic. She had a great time as did granny grunt as Jacob and Abby call her(my mom), and Oma(Mike's mom). They had ham sandwiches, chips, water, and teddy grahams. They had a great time. What memories they will have. The class made a quilt to go to the highest bidder it was a silent auction. We did not win, but it was very cute it was the class hand prints. The money goes to the teacher not the school which I am glad she can buy things she needs for her class books, or art that they do during the year. Abby at the picnic look at how happy she is.

Jacob got to have donuts with grandparents. He was so happy since Abby goes to the church in the morning before school she got to do this also. They had a great time and we had a great turn out.
