Super Incredible weekend

We had a great weekend. Our church had there annual super incredible weekend. You bring your family and have speakers and worship time. This year was the amazing race, we got to race around Choctaw and try to find clues, at every clue there was a mission that you prayed for. You would not believe all the different missions that are going on around the country. One of the stops was for the Appalachian people. We knew about this one when we lived in Virginia. The stops had something to do with every mission it was great the kids loved it. When we got there we had our pictures taken for our passports. Then off to breakfast and games. We also made our family flag which was fun. Mike got to do some of this with us before he had to go to work. Then we had a guest speaker Mark Jones he was very good, the music was also good. We had lunch then off to the race. What a great time we had. We also watched a movie outside Flywheel which was very good also. The kids loved laying under the stars to watch the movie.

I am so glad that God has blessed us with a good church, and church family.

Grandparent Day

I know that this post is late, but better late than never!!

Abby got to stay the night with my mom, by herself without Jacob. My mom took her to school for a grandparent picnic. She had a great time as did granny grunt as Jacob and Abby call her(my mom), and Oma(Mike's mom). They had ham sandwiches, chips, water, and teddy grahams. They had a great time. What memories they will have. The class made a quilt to go to the highest bidder it was a silent auction. We did not win, but it was very cute it was the class hand prints. The money goes to the teacher not the school which I am glad she can buy things she needs for her class books, or art that they do during the year. Abby at the picnic look at how happy she is.

Jacob got to have donuts with grandparents. He was so happy since Abby goes to the church in the morning before school she got to do this also. They had a great time and we had a great turn out.

I am so happy that they got to have this day together. This means so much to the kids and what memories they will have. I am so happy that we live by family. God has blessed with so much.

I have a girly girl

Well the other night Abby and Jacob stayed the night with there Oma. There was a little girl at church that had her nails done. Abby wanted hers done, but as everyone knows I do not have mine done, so why would I pay to have Abby's done. Oma could not have this so we met them at the mall. Abby and Oma went to have there nails done, while I took Jacob shopping for some new clothes. Mike was with us. He said that he could not find us so he went to the movies and left me with the kids. How nice is he???????????? Jacob was very tired and I had to get on to him in the store and he was so cute, because he said can I just go home and take a nap. I said yes as soon as dad gets done at the movie!!!!

Abby had the best time getting her nails done. She wants to go again and get a different color in two weeks since this polish should come off by then. I told her I did not know, that maybe we could do this at home.

Chuck E. Cheese

Well we did it. We took the kids to chuck e cheese, because they had a good week. We had a great time, then we went to the grocery store. The grocery store was not fun. They kept running around the store like they have never been there before. I kept asking them why are you acting like this? We just went to chuck e cheese! Mike told them that we would not be going there for a while, because the way they acted at the store. They are not very happy, but Mike and I are.

All in all the kids did not cry when we left chuck e cheese, they were very good there just not at the store. I guess you can not have everything.

First Day of School

Today was a very big day at our house. Today was the first day of school for Abby. She started kindergarten. I can not believe my little girl is in big school is what she says. She said that she had a good day and met one friend. She can not remember her name though, she will ask her again tomorrow. I have to remember that this is a new school for her and she may not know very many people there. She said we did not get to go outside, and all we did was centers. I told her that tomorrow will be better and she will get to do more as the school year progresses.

Abby at our house in her new clothes. She would not let me take a picture of her at school, because she was embarrassed.

Crazy Kids

We went shopping the other day with my mom for Abby some school clothes. Abby has a total different taste than I do, but we made it through the day. We had a couple of not so happy moments, because she did not want to try anything on. When we got done shopping we went out to eat. Mike was home asleep, because he was on call the night before. When we go somewhere the kids always get a toy. Well this time Jake got his underwear. I did not know that he took them. Well while we were driving I looked in the back seat and this is what I saw.

Open House

Abby got to go to her new school and met her teacher. While we were getting ready to go she did not want to go see the school or meet her teacher. She said that she liked her old school better and wanted to go back there. She said that all of her friends were at that school and she did not have any friends at the new one. Well when we got there a couple of her friends from church were there and she was better about everything. We met her teacher, which her name is Mrs Robertson, and she seemed very nice. When she was in Pre-K I walked her to her class, but now she has to be let off at the door and she has to walk to her class all by herself. I am very sad about this, because my little girl is growing up. Her first day of school will be Thursday. This will be a very busy week with getting everything ready for this big day.
